Currently we are in need of the following:
· 4 computers to restart the computer class.
· Spomsor a student and help them go to Junior High and High School after Krasang Roleung Primary School
- Junior High is estimated to cost $100 per child per year
- High School is estimated to cost $150 per child per year
· Help the students get to school by purchasing them a bicycle. A bicycle costs $45.
· We would like to teach the students more about being environmentally friendly, by placing more bins around the school and getting a compost house. This project is estimated to cost $500.
· We are trying to build a sample garden and seedling hut to teach the children, as well as parents about growing produce. This project will cost $1,200.
· In 2012 we will have a library. We need someone to sponsor a librarian. The cost is $55 a month.
· Copies of English textbooks. The cost is $5 per child per year.
· School supplies:
- Notebooks, each child needs 10 notebooks per year (Grades 4, 5 and 6 needabout 15pieces)
Notebooks cost $0.25 each
- School Bags cost $3.50 each
- Uniforms, each child needs 2 per year. Uniforms range in price from $5 to $7 a set.
- Shoes, normally in the form of flip flops. They cost $1.50 a pair.
